RN, BSN, MSN, BC Founder & Program Director of Cotton Care CNA/QMA Academy, Andrea C. Cotton, is a Registered Nurse, with 35 years of experience in Healthcare. Andrea became an LPN in 1979 and RN, ADN in 1982. Worked for years in OB / Labor and delivery. Mrs. Cotton went on to obtain her BSN in nursing in 1988 and her MSN in 1998. Became Board Certified thru ANCC in 2010 in Nursing Education. Mrs. Cotton has 20 years of experience in leadership as a Director of Nursing for Cook County and also as the Dean of Nursing for Med Tech College and other programs. As the Dean of Nursing, Mrs. Cotton created the ISDH approved CNA program for Med Tech..

Furthermore, she has 10 years of experience teaching LPNs and RNs for entry-level nursing as Adjunct Faculty for City Colleges of Chicago. It was during Covid that Cotton Care was born. A need for assistive help was noted with our elderly population. Since we did not have enough hands to help it was decided to build and create the help we needed. With over 35 years of experience and her love for teaching, Andrea Cotton plans to maintain and enhance the quality of education for Certified Nursing Assistants and Qualified Medication Aides in Indiana in order to promote and protect the quality of patient care. Cotton Care now offers: CNA classes, CNA online, QMA In person and Online classes, QMA Insulin classes, QMA Online continuing education classes and QMA online Insulin Continuing classes. Cotton Care also offers a payment plan to help the economically challenged student. This school also accepts WIOA and Bright Point Vouchers.
