Andrea Cotton RN, BSN, MSN, BC Founder & Program Director of Cotton Care CNA/QMA Academy, Andrea C. Cotton, is a Registered Nurse, with 35 years of experience in Healthcare. Andrea became an LPN in 1979 and RN, ADN in 1982. Worked for years in OB / Labor and delivery. Mrs. Cotton went on to obtain her BSN in nursing in 1988 and her MSN in 1998. Became Board Certified thru ANCC in 2010 in Nursing Education. Mrs. Cotton has 20 years of experience in leadership as a Director of Nursing for Cook County and also as the Dean of Nursing for Med Tech College and other programs. As the Dean of Nursing, Mrs. Cotton created the ISDH approved CNA program for Med Tech..
The CNA Program
Students completing the CNA Program
First 30 hours is completed online. This course is completed in less than two weeks. Do your classroom work online at your convenience. Labs and clinicals are completed in two weeks and then prepare you for state testing.
QMA Classes.
We now offer Online classes. Two mandatory in person days for your lab and Final. Online classes are Power point presentations with quizzes to ascertain understanding. Instructor available to answer questions as needed. Study at your own pace. Use your off shifts, weekends, holidays etc to study and never miss a day of work. After completing Online and passing your final (80%) it will be time for your 40 hour medication cart experience at your place of preference.

2 week CNA/QMA Classes in Fort Wayne
Qma online class
Mandatory to attend only 2days (1st and Last day)
1st day is orientation/lessons 1-7 and Lab
Last day is Completion of Lab and 10 question Final.
Self-study with all other lessons online with power point, videos and quizzes
Program is 10 days with 24 hour access to online.
Must pass Final with 80%
Next is your medication cart for 40 hours. You choose your location. Next is the Application for state testing $65.00 fee

Final on 9 th day
You must be a CNA. You must have 1000 worked hours. Federal criminal back ground check.
You must have a High School diploma or GED. Price 900. 300 dollar deposit. Pay 1/2 balance at the end of the first week. Pay balance before final.

Cotton Care Refund Policy
All Programs require a minimum of a 100 dollar deposit to hold a seat for occupation on start date of the scheduled program.
All deposits paid up to 300 dollars maximum will be considered nonrefundable and applied toward existing balance
If the seat is canceled for a particular class it can be utilized only once to be applied to another open scheduled date with a 2 week notice.
Once class has opened all deposits and payments toward purchase of the class is forfeited.
Refunds will be given in the same manner in which it was applied. 2-3 weeks for refund completion.
